Safety first!

Glad this guy was not seriously wounded, but have to scratch my head as to why the fella behind the counter did not clear the weapon first and why the cop didn't double check it first.

Gotta hit the link. For some reason, I cannot get the video to upload.

So much fail.
The guy down the counter is lucky he didn't get shot.
Counter employee looks like he's ready for a nap, too tired to check the gun to see that IT'S LOADED?!!

Cop fails to follow rules 1-3 of safe gun handling, luckily he's only got a hole in his hand.

Wow, just wow.

Holy cow!! Broke every rule in the book! Tucson's right. It's amazing he didn't shoot one of the other customers. I wonder what happened to the clerk who didn't ensure it was empty before handing it over. Or the cop for that matter.

So many layers of wrong in this video. Every single rule of gun safety ignored by both clerk and cop. No accidental discharge - NEGLIGENT!

Jeeze... gun pointed in an unsafe direction, failure to ensure the gun was clear, AND pulling the trigger while neglecting the previous two steps. Very lucky someone didn't get killed. Shame on both the officer and store clerk for being so irresponsible.

In any branch of the USA military, that would have been a 'you do push ups, until I think you should quit' moment. I can not believe anyone could do something that stupid!! I was taught that the first time I handled a firearm by my Dad. Oh, ya, he learned that in the Army during WWII basic training. But, he and his brothers had been shooting for many years before that. None were ever injured in any firearms incidents.
