I had to think through my history as I scrolled through the firearms. When I saw the answer, I knew it was an American design.

Uniquely is the Key word.
But, What Country was the Semi-Automatic first Manufactured in ?
Me think's it was the good old U.S.A.
Should have added the BAR in that list.
Plus the Williams 30 cal. Carbine.
List could go on - Many Unique Firearms developed in the Good Old U.S.A.

Did get it.
