Thank you. There has been chatter about Beretta re-releasing the Brig. Elites after they open their new TN factory. I think Beretta has seen how popular the demand is for Brigadier models ever since they started manufacturing them for Wilson Combat last year, but who knows. I also can't wait to check out the Beretta APX when it gets released to the public. Right now the SR9 is my only striker fired pistol, but that may change if the APX performs like they claim.

For sentimental reasons I love my 1984 LH Wingmaster because I am left handed and born in 1984. It has been shot less than 50 times and has held up to the test of time better than I have

Some collectors will drool over these flagship pistols in my collection.

I have TWO Dan Wesson pistol packs from the early 1990's, one being the 15-2 .357 Magnum with the heavy vent rib barrels, the other being the 44V .44 Magnum with the heavy vent rib barrels. Bought both of these at the time for investment purposes; they have never been fired. I try to find these at gun shows and have not seen any in years. They must be rare by now.

Sorry, no pictures of these.

Like many of you, I suppose mine is also my Dad's gun. I have his 1943 Colt 1911 in .38 Super. I think it actually say's Super 38 on it,.......but that maybe some of my old ammo I'm thinking of. I don't have a photo on this new laptop, but from what I've been told it was pieced together as a competition gun before he got it. That took care of any collector value it might have had, so I had the frame nickle plated and the slide re-blued about 25 years ago to my own liking. She's one I'll never let go, as long as I'm alive that is. I still shoot it.

Last June I was fortunate to attend the CMP AMC(advanced maintenance class) in Anniston Alabama where I built a M1 Garand. All the parts except the new Criterion barrel and Boyd stock were original GI issued parts. All the parts were refinished (reparkerized). I selected the receiver, bolt, trigger housing, operating rod and gas cylinder. I installed and timed the barrel; reamed the chamber. I assembled the entire rifle and with help from CMP employees resolved any problems.
After completing the build, I took the rifle to the CMP range in Talladega and fired about 100 rounds to see how it worked. The rifle worked flawlessly and after adjusting the rear sight all the shots hit either the 9 or 10 ring at 100 yards. The rifle looks great and it will remain in my safe until they put me in the ground. Then my son will get it. I would have enclosed photos but they have too many pixels.

Very nice. One just like it was my first pistol purchase some years ago.

The bottom is my S&W Model 17 .22 I received as a College graduation gift in 1978 from my parents.

The top is a S&W Model 19 .357 I purchased after starting with the feds in 1984.

Other than the white outline/orange post sights on the 19, and the size of the holes in the cylinders, they are identical.

My other favorite is my Browning Special Sporting Clays 12 gauge O/U.
