My collection is in single digits and nothing costs more than $700 OTD. The flagship is the family favorite SR9C.

The guns I mentioned have been shot extensively over the years. The rifle and shotgun don't see a lot of use these days, but the Single-Six still does.

FWIW all my guns are "shooters".

For me, it is a Remington 514 single shot .22. I got it for Christmas 51 years ago. My parents got it with S&H Green stamps (if you remember those). That is the gun that started it all for me. Still have it and still looks beautiful.

* The Iver Johnson nine shot .22 Revolver that was my dad's.......he traded his dad's .38 for the .22 in order to shoot cheaper ammo, plinking during boat runs along the 1950's and 60's Intracoastal Waterway. It was the first gun I shot,was the house gun and by the time I was old enough to legally own a handgun,I had run many rounds through the Iver Johnson during teenage years Everglades rambles.

*On my eighteenth birthday my dad gave me a new Ruger Single Six with my initials and date of my eighteenth birthday engraved on the grip heel. What a move up!....adjustable sights,load gate,no need to remove the cylinder to load/unload/empties. A magnum cylinder!

* Ruger No.1 International

*Ruger .44 Special Flat Top- one of the original Lipsey's 1,000 production run

Nice set of Berettas! I wish they would re-release the Elites or the Steel-I series. I'd snap them up in a heartbeat.

For me it would be difficult to choose between my Colt Gold Cup National Match 1911 and my Sig P220 Stainless Elite.

I do like .45 ACP...

When/IF I ever get one, it will be a Freedom Arms 4 5/8" .357 "Premium" Grade..........one of those is worth more than my car.........maybe I can find a shop that will let me do a 3 year layaway lol

I'm afraid that if I got one it would spoil me on other brands.........I got to handle and work the actions on a few of them at a gun show, a dealer I've bought many guns from had a few used ones that came out of a collection.........I now know why a Freedom Arms retails for $2,000+ and a Blackhawk for $550........the fit and finish was pretty much perfect, and that hammer felt like it cocks itself when you pull back on it. Never fired one though, although the factory test target shows cloverleafs at 25 yards. These are the SA revolver you need if you want it ready to go out of the box, no need for action work.
