Dickson Detective 25 Auto. Never fired a complete mag without a jam. Terrible Saturday Night Special.

Couldn't get a decent group out of it ... Maybe I had a lemon idk
I'm also considering a Sig 1911 in 22lr for about the same price as the GSG.

I just hope I am smart enought to ask myself:
"self is this a future POS that looks nice now" before I buy something else.

My 1st rifle/weapon. Rossi single shot .22. It would give light primer strikes about 3 out of 5. Paid $100 sold for $90.

I have no experience with either pistol, but I have heard good things about them as well. Buck has put his to the test:

GSG 1911-22 at 40,000 Rounds

I bought new shot a bit..or tried to and had a great deal of diffuculty with a Taurus 24/7 OSS 45acp FTFeed, FTEject basically a POS gun. I have a dozen other model Taurus revolvers and pistols that are fine handguns...but the 24/7 was a junker.

The SCCY 9mm bought two tried them and dumped them asap..very poor fit and feel. Luckily I paid $75 each for them and sold them for $99. I see them going for $200 now like the "Expensive High Points" and chuckle a bit. These also are real junkers.

I have had various caliber High Points. In fact I have two 9mm on the shelf right now. Ugly, Poor Feel, Heavy, Lousey Balance... But they go Bang no matter what you do to them. I don't encourage anyone to buy them, but for a great Boat Anchor or glove box pistol they do the job at low cost. Fit them with the carbine frame and you have some serious HD at hand (with a 30 rd Glock mag)

That's the exact reason why I considered the GSG 1911-22.
