absolutely beautiful and there is no comparing Sako bluing to anyone else...

Here's my go-to bolt gun during hunting season..

Sako Finnbear Mannlicher... Left handed bolt action :-)

Hunting dings throughout/bluing loss at muzzle/barrel surround and had probably 300 rds down the tube... She's been hunted with, but cared for lovingly...

That is a pretty rifle and I'm guessing the action is a smooth and the trigger sweet. Looks like something you will eventually pass on as well.

My father purchased it in 1982 for $1000 w/the Leupold scope because he liked the way it looked. He was into firearms at all at the time. Him and I took it out target shooting a few times and I took it out hunting a couple of times and then it sat in a gun case for the rest of the time. After I took possession of it I decided that it was gooing to be a family hand down rifle. I took it to the LGS to have it appraised and the owner could be that a 30yr old rifle had only 30rnds shot through it. If not for a couple of dings on the dimples on the stock it is has if it were right out of the box. I've tried to find one in the same condition and I have yet to find one. This is one for a grand child later on.

You should really go out and take a buck down with it and then put it up for the heirs..

It could very well start a tradition; one buck then put it away for the next person in-line..

again, beautiful rifle !!!
