NEF Pardner 20 Gauge Single Shot

I picked up this little beauty Friday for 70 bucks It's in great condition.

New England Firearms Pardner Model
20 Gauge, 3" Mod.

I took it directly to the range where I gave it quick cleaning and lube. Functions perfectly. My new (to me) all purpose shotgun.

What a nice score! I need to find a deal like that while your BSing. Itd be nice to have something a little lighter than a 12 gauge to have around.

Just last weekend....I picked up the 12 ga version of this same gun, love it.. I paid 100.00, haven't taken photos of it yet. I grew up shooting an old WWII single shot 12ga that my grandfather won in a poker game, this gun reminds me of those good times, I had to have it.

Yeah my Topper 88 in 12 guage does knock the cobb webs loose inside your noggin when you let a round fly. I never seemed to notice it too much when I was a punk teen ager but I sure notice it as "significant" these days. But then I have grown used to my O/U's over the years.

I got another 12 guage NEF shotgun in 12 guage a few years back but this one was the Ultra-Slug with a heavy fully rifled barrel and weights a heck of a lot more than the Topper 88. Its a lot less rude.

I must admit though that I like the simplisty of these sweet little guns. Its too bad the guns arent fitted and finished as good as they were before Remington took them over and its a shame there arent more options available. It would be a little easier to swallow the rising cost of them.

I couldn't agree more. A far cry from our semi-auto ARs, pistols, and shotties with all the bells and whistles.

Ditto! When the 12 gauge is calmer to shoot than a 20, somethings wrong!

It's just such a classic look. On the S&W revolvers seems all most all of them have it on the trigger and hammer? How about Ruger? Hmm?
