Ithaca 37's are a nice shotgun. It's looks well cared for and will give you many years of hard use.

The Ithaca 37 was is a good gun. It was one of the first pumps good for left handers with a tang safety and bottom ejection.

It looks great, condition looks really good. I'm sure it feels good to have it back in your possession.

Pretty nice shotgun, as did many other's I purchased an Ithaca M-37 for my first shotgun, in fact it was the first firearm I'd ever purchased. It was a good bird and rabbit gun and I had a lot of good time's with it in the company of friends. I certain that your father's M-37 has a long history of hunt's with friend's, day's spent afield and good times in it as well. Enjoy your little piece of history and touchstone to your father.

My dad was a lefty and had a left-handed safety, but he had the original right-handed one put back in before giving it to me. I was a little worried that it had sat unused for quite a while in a closet and I was dreading finding rust but my brother-in-law wiped it down once in a while and it's still in great shape as you can see. There are dings and marks in the stock but that's just character.

It's a beauty.
I'll never be handed down any family firearm heirlooms, there haven't been firearms in our family for a few generations.
I've broken that mould..... |
