I been waiting to buy the 10/22 takedown. I'm didnt know it came in wood stock. As soon as it is in stock in
Rosedale, Maryland I'm picking it up. This is realy a good looking 10/22 takedown compare to the black one.

What was the price compared to the synthetic stocked one? Did it come with the carry case too?

Nice.
I may have thought twice about the synthetic stock TD if I had had the choice of a wood stock.
Oh well, synthetic has its advantages.
Just another reason to buy another rifle I guess

Smile

My Distributor contact advises that this gun has not been shipped by Ruger. If you have the original packaging, Pls let me know the Model number and details off of the box, so I can follow up. You noted that Big five had five and yours was the last one...........Any help would be great, here. MIKE

Ruger does not make a wood stock takedown! I work at a local Arizona gun shop and have personal contacts with Ruger, either he received the only wood takedown 10/22 or he made it himself!

Well, Ruger must be selling a zillion of the original Take-Downs. At the range tonight the guys on either side of me were zeroing brand new Take Downs.

Could the wood one be a Distributor Special? Or just Photoshop?
