I'd but one like that! Like the wood better than the black plastic.

So here are updated pics. I added a scope and a Tactical Innovations threaded stainless bull barrel. FYI it is not an off the shelf barrel. I don't want to upset anyone so i am telling you that up front. I had to do some machine work on it. It was very minimal. I would suggest a butler creek for the future. It is closer to a factory ruger barrel and requires no modification to the latch assembly. All i had to do was drill and counter bore a hole. Not a big deal but just more unecessary work. I am trying to find the matching wood stock, and ruger to come out with the latch parts so i can just swap from standard barrel to bull barell. The latch parts are to new and not in their system yet.

It looks great! Can't believe you got that from Big 5 sporting goods! LOL. I hope more members post their thoughts on your custom job. What is next for your 10/22?

Wow looks like great minds think alike. Wish I would have seen that before I did mine. It would have made it a lot easier. I even looked all over before I did it. I wanted to be the first. Oh well maybe I'm the first one with a bull barrel.

It's finally done. For now I guess anyway. I got a matching stock and had to make all the all the latch parts because they are still not available from ruger. Now I can swap barells whenever I want.
