OD Green Ruger P95

Hey guys I'm over at Calguns and figured I share this with my fellow Ruger family.

Long story short, painted my Ruger green.

Long story long? I've always wanted a gun in OD green, there is something about that color that I drool over. So I decided I'd paint my P95. First off let me tell you other P95 owners who plan on taking apart your gun, DON'T. Unless you have any clue what you are doing. I thank goodness am a genius. No really though unless you've worked on guns before, I do not suggest you taking apart every piece, spring, pin on the weapon. Painted the gun with the Krylon Camo that every one loves which I too now love. Next is my shotgun.

Heres a couple of pictures. Tell me what you guys think...hate or love it.

Better pictures from yesterday.

Looks damn good. It could have come out of the factory like that for all I know. I always liked the OD SR9s they have but this definitely looks just as good

Thanks guys. The SR9 is what I actually tried to model it after. Speaking of the SR9, I want that gun so bad hahaha.

Looks good I have never been enamored of 2 tone semi autos. However pinto look revolvers blue cylinder and stainless frame or nickel and blue really does it for me.

Looks really good. I do like the OD green but I think I'll leave mine the way they are.

I got mine for my first handgun, saw it as a newer more modern Ruger for $430 compared to the P95 at $350 but after hearing all the good things about the P-series, I've been thinking of picking one up. I just wasnt a fan of the DA/SA until I got used to the SP101. I probably wont get another 9mm until I fill in a few more calibers/types of guns first but if I see a good deal on a used one, who knows.

Thanks again everyone. I hope to do a how to video or at least a write up on how to take apart these things.
