Did you do the stock with breaker cleaner as well? Just curious, as I have one that needs a similar paint removal. Except I'm pretty sure mine is krylon. I wonder if it would melt the plastic?

Mine is krylon as well. No I wouldn't spray the stock with it, it ate thru my gloves fairly quick so I imagine it'd eat the stock.. I'm just gonna spray it mat black until I can buy another stock.

While it works fairly well I had to really scrub and with the fluid drying so fast you end up with gunk all over the gun.

I found the best way is to spray it with a quick blast followed by some hard brash brush and a full power spray to rinse it off. Once it is fairly clean a generous blast at full pressure and a quick wipe while it's wet takes the remaining off. Repeat until you see black, then spray the snot out of it with clp and let it sit before wiping it off.

It doesn't look that bad to me,I like black to but could live with it the way it is now.

So she's pretty much done. The rails and the right side of the upper were a real pain in the *** but it looks waaaay better than it did when I bought it.

Also I was unable to remove the quad rail. I've never had one on an ar before but I assumed I would take the 4 screws out, push the delta ring down and it should pop off. This did not happen. Anyone have experience removing these?
