My only question is do they hold the revolver firmly in place?

I'm a leather guy too alot of the time and commonly have both leather and kydex options for my guns. Different situations call for different gear.

the retention on these holsters is phenomenal. Also, its adjustable with the screw below the trigger guard. They both "click" in wonderfully. I can adjust it from clicking in, to "snapping" in.

I havent tried with the new one yet, but on the other i can hold it upside down and shake the holster and the gun wont fall out. show me that on some leather without a strap!

They "pop" right out with no more force than you would use in a normal defensive draw.

I think the grips are beautiful! And I have no issues whatsoever with the Kydex holster. If it holds the pistol securely and you like it, why not?

By the way, if I didn't mention it, those grips are great looking.

Agree 100%. Both look great. I too love leather holsters but prefer EDC with Kydex. You just can't beat the retention and draw.

Impressive.

I do use a strap over the hammer with a thumb break. Takes practice but the draw works well and I like the additional retention.

They don't make Holster's on a regular basis for wheel guns. Has to be a custom drop off.

JM Custom Kydex is another local one who makes them for revolvers though and lists them as an option on their website.

They are nice, but I actually like the ones you have better. Yeah...I looked at the webpage and the one I like isn't offered for a GP.

Two great revolvers dressed to kill. I like it! Good looking and practical. The stainless wheel-guns negate my only objection to kydex...finish wear. Well done Doc!
