Good looking gun & holster combo. Loaded 1911's are heavy, so you might try those belts with the steel inner core that won't sag.

I use a waxed web belt, plenty strong enough for a pancake holster. My wife uses one also to open carry her Colt Police Positive, these belts do just fine with any weight gun I have carried, and usually holsters are regular belt holsters not pancake. Pancakes spread the weight out further on the belt.

Many military use a instructor belt also for OWB carry, the M9 is probably about the same weight as a 1911.

I got a nice heavy & wide leather belt that matches my holsters that color from wally world for about $15.

I have purchased from both and been happy with their belts. They are both stiff enough to put up with the weight and not sag. Nice looking 1911.

I have the same gun/holster combo and was also looking for a new belt. Thanks for the suggestions.

I have two of the 1 1/4 inch, 14 oz Hank's Belts on which I've carried a Sr9c, Glock 23 and SR1911, but not at the same time.

Great and will last many years.

I strongly recommend the Bigfoot steel core gun belts. My recent review can be found HERE

The local Amish community makes and sells these great sturdy leather belts. Inch and a half wide and probably 3/16" thick, perfectly fits my Mitch Rossin owb holster. And they are reasonably priced!

I would look for a nice leather belt strap then find a nice gun related buckle. There are lots online. You can get a great combination for about $70.00.

You may want to check out Savoy Leather

I just ordered my second and third holster/belt combo from Savoy Leather. They do awesome work and will customize it in just about any way you like.

They make regular thickness and extra thick belts and I'm sure they could match the color.
