P series

WOW !! What a great thread. I collect Hi-Powers, but have just purchased a LNIB P95 on an auction site. Can't wait to get it. My son has owned a P95 for at least 10 years. Loves it, has shot it several thousand times. It is his truck gun. It has fallen from his horse, it's been dropped it a stock tank, and may have been cleaned once or twice, I don't know. So his advice to me has been correct; "collect your Hi Powers Dad, but get a P95 to shoot"

The highpowers are great pistols, I am envious since I do not own one yet. You will like the p95, its a great gun. Only gun I feel is more robust is the p89, since its all metal, but it is heavier. Why I own 2 of each. I perfer the p95pr since it has a rail, but thats personal preference. Either is a great gun, and I am not sure it can be worn out, atleast I have never seen one.

Tacky ... I would agree with your assessment of the P89 but my P90 makes me look like a better shooter than i really am.

On a side note the elusive P89x has been spotted and for a decent $$$$. The hitch is the seller doesn't have a rating on GB ... his first sale ...

I have to think long on this one ...

My 90 was my first, and a great robust tank. Between the 89, and 95, I feel the 89 wins, however do not discount the 95. Any of the p series are far greater than many others on the market.

Goodluck with the 89x, I would be shady, but thats me, given the circumstances.

Tacky ... believe you me brother I don't discredit my P95. She is a fine, way above filly. The P90 is a "robust tank" thats for sure, there is just something about her that helps me tear the heck out of the center of the target.

I may be prejudiced but I have no complaints with any of my P series fillies ...
