Hey man that was funny, thats how it ends up for me too. I tried to call her into her to look at the collection and see what you wrote and she would budge.

Beautiful Collection! But, they look sooooo clean! Do you shoot them, or are you primarily a collector? Not that I have an opinion one way or the other. There are many ways to enjoy firearms.

I met a guy once who swore that he entire retirement "fund" was tied up in vintage militaria and firearms collections. His intention was to sell off his collections a bit at a time during his golden years. Never saw the collection and never met the man again, but it was an interesting conversation.

Haha J, I'm looking at the list of guns in your sig and I'm like, "hey, those sound familiar!". Hahaha!

That SP101 will soon be moving from your sig to mine!!!

...and on the topic of zombies, well, all you really need I a good shotty, a reliable pistol or two, and most importantly, a good melée weapon for when you're out of ammo! I have everything except the shotgun.

That's a pretty good collection, but where is all the ammo?

Actually it's an amazing collection and tastefully displayed.

If you have a Marlin room, I'd love to see that!

Reminds me of when I was a kid and had my old tape deck with only three tapes to play: AC/DC Highway to Hell, Aerosmith (1), and Van Halen (1). I listened to all three of those over and over and never had a problem picking out which one to listen to.

When I got older and CD's came out and I accumulated hundreds of different albums I could never pick out which CD to listen to. I'd spend more time trying to decide what I wanted to hear than actually playing music.

I can't imagine what it would be like deciding what guns of yours to take to the range...

Hey Zealot, If you get to my neck of the woods (Framingham) give me a shout. We can have coffee and take a trip through the room. This goes for anyone else traveling through Ma. Russ

Woah!

What model & factory is the High Standard? Looks like a competition model with the rear sight bridge.

That is a NICE collection. Everytime I get a new one I tell myself that is last pistol /revoler I will ever get. Like that ever works. Three new rugers in Jan alone.

Can I ask you what drew you to Ruger? The only people I've ever met in person who spend big money on guns usually go for something like Purdy shotguns or a collection of Perazzis, that sort of thing.

Marlinspike--To Ans. your question ---About 5 years ago I decided to start a collection and was looking into many Manf. I could see that I could not afford Colt and after some research I picked Ruger it was and still is an afordable gun, also the Co. was started the same year that I was born and the headquarters and factory were somewhat nearby giving me a chance to meet some of the employees. It has been a good choice ---Russ
