Finally broker down the FN this weekend to check it out. Looks like a low round count, maybe no more than factory testing. Took a couple pics.

The bolt face.

The funky bolt carrier group. A lot different than your average AR bcg.

The bore is bright and shiny. Hard to see in the pic. Also the ejection tube runs parallel to the barrel.

Picked up a proper P90 muzzle brake and had some time to put it on today. This one is made by CMMG.

Don't think I posted this one yet, so here it is.

A Taurus CT9 carbine.

My only complaint is lack of a threaded barrel.

Mine is brown too but I'll still play. This also 'cured' me of AR's

Mostly stock. Battle comp 1.0, aftermarket safety selectors and sling mounts since in a lefty, GG&G charging handle that's easier for me to manipulate. BFG VCAS sling that converts to 1 point. Maybe a trigger some time in the future. It blows my mind that a rifle of this quality and cost has the worst trigger ever

I will own it's bigger brother some day too :-)

Ok... It's black, it's "other" and a bit evil given its looks

My 9mm Hi-Point carbine... More accurate and reliable than you might think! And a hoot to shoot!

Runs pretty well. I put a set of magpul Mbus on it. It came with two ten round mags, due to silly importation regulations, something about "sporting" purposes hence the no threaded barrel. I modified two 32 round 9mm ar mags.

Factory 9mm ar mag left, modified right. Using taurus follower.

Modified on left.

My Little Friend

This is my little friend, well 11 3/4 pounds of little with a full 20 round mag. It's a Ruger SR 762 ( that's a 308 for you uninitiated ) with a Nikon M 308 4-16 X 42 scope with Bullet Drop Compensator, Harris bi pod, Buffer Technology buffer system, and a Viking Sling.
Next will probably be a Geissel SSA-E trigger .

Sure do love the look of those SCAR's.... wished I had one.

I have a couple of ancient black-type-rifles...

An IMI Galil... in 5.56mm... with built-in bi-pod (with bottle opener), folding rear-stock and carry handle... and a wooden forearm. It is said that when you hold a rifle in the hot, 110 degree desert Sun, wood is good.... (<--that straight from the IDF forces). The only problem I see is that this small rifle with the machined-steel receiver and gas-piston... is really HEAVY. Nearly 9lbs without the mag and cartridges... and I have a 50 rd. factory magazine for it... shhheeeshhh...

An AR180... another Stoner design from 1963... this one made in 1975 by Sterling Armaments Company in the U.K....

Hellraiser reminded me, I never put my Scar 17 in here! I'll have to take a good pic first though.

That's pretty darn awesome! The galil is a fantastic weapon.
