That looks pretty dang awesome!

I have also commissioned a holster for my paid for but yet to be acquired wedding gun.

More details on that after the weapon arrives tomorrow.

Almost. It's a pre model.

Thanks guys.

Nothing wrong with that. I've been offered two and three times what I paid for that one so it makes me a little nervous to handle and shoot.

I have another nickel gun but don't treat it any special as it's a recent production.

Around here a "BBQ gun" is any gun considered "fancy". I don't own anything with engraving and gold inlays so this would be my closest approximation.

My STI Elektra .45acp

I would like to get a full fledged "BBQ gun" someday. To me there are really only two platforms that are just made for fancying up and that is the 1911 and the SAA style revolver. There are some really gorgeous STI 1911's that would make a perfect canvas for engraving and such but any high end brand would work. Colt would be an obvious choice for a 1911 and/or a SAA. Since I would be hesitant to modify a Colt SAA, I would probably choose a Ruger (large frame) Vaquero.

Any woman carrying that would be welcome at my BBQ.

If I was permitted to carry, it would probably be this one.

Living just a stones throw from the U.S. - Mexico border crossing I figured something "local" would be in order....

First "BBQ gun is a genuine Saturday Night Special...made out of zinc with genuine plastic grips...favored by most gang bangers when they have a low rider car show and bbq..it's an RG-31 that is the "big brother" to the RG-22 that was used to shoot Reagan and Brady...it's perfect for the location just across from the border fence in the Walmart parking lot.

Second picture is of a SAA Colt clone with appropriate knife and hand tooled Tijuana special holster..again, perfect for the Mexico border parties...The caliber is 45 Colt but the ammo in the belt loops is 45ACP as that was the only ammo Walmart had convenient to steal off the shelves..

Neither of these is registered..probably were stolen..have an unknown "history" and can easily converted to "side sights" for gang bangers to shoot with the ever popular "drive by side hold".

I thought you guys weren't allowed to have handguns. Is it because it's a single action?
