| Winchester Model 50
I was messing around looking up my gun manufacture dates. I thought of the Winchester Model 50 I bought at auction about 3 years ago. I never did any research on it at the time and had no idea of the age. I looked today and it was made in 1956. Never had a clue it was that old and it's in really good shape too.

Very nice looking Model 50. I wish I still had the Remington Model 10 that I had as a kid.....Oh well

you have a 1961 model 59 trigger guard on your 56 gun. may even be all model 59 guts. looks like someone either wrecked it or was having the classic AD that early guns did and swapped it out.
it use to be all gold alloy. it just wore off and looks silver now. that trigger assy went on the lighweight gun. do a google on model 59 and youll see it.
