| Refinished Blackhawk
I'm in total agreement with BlkHawk73 on that issue. What's more, and it's just more negatives, but unfortunately the people that did the re-finish on your gun did a very poor job when buffing. If you look at the holes around the screws, you can see where the screw holes are all dished out.
The folks that mentioned that it's worth less money because it's been refinished are absolutely correct for just these reasons.
Sorry, but that's the reality of it all.

Having such ill-fitting grips will certainly deter a possible buyer or at least make it an area to margin with. That poor of a fit makes them pretty unusable as they cannot really be made to properly fit that grip frame from what is seen in the pictures.
Not trying to bring more rain to the parade, just wanting to bring the whole picture into the light. | |

I'd like to write a closer on this saga...
After 4 months, This morning I delivered the Ruger Blackhawk to it's new owner for $699.00. That's a lot less than I had hoped for, but as most of you have shown me, The details "matter". I did not lose money on this deal, I just won't plan to fund my next vacation on the profit from it's sale !!
The new owner will be shooting this one.

Thanks for the closure mate. |

I almost worked a deal on that revolver, but it didn't work out.
