gun registration

my father has a few handguns he has given to me to keep with me and use. all legally registered to him,can i carry these guns legally with my concealed carry license? do they have to be registered to me?

Bob,
Carry laws, and firearm laws in general, vary greatly from state to state (and sometimes locally as well).
Your profile doesn't say where you live. If we had that info, I feel confident that someone here would be able to answer your question - or at the very least direct you to someplace that would.

Thirty years ago the actual weapon to be carried was listed on Penn. CCP. My last renewal application stated any legal weapon REGISTERED to me. I want to say you should be able to carry if it was registered to your father, but it would be better to call your local sherriff or State Police Barracks. You could always go on-line and check the state A.G.'s site. All of the Commonwealth's fire-arm regs are there...

not allow a single action like a 1911. Now the Tn. highway patrol issues them. You can carry what you want to. Ours are carry permits open or concealed.
