I live in New Hampshire..only took about 12 days total about 8 working days. Dropped it off September 19th picked it up today (10/1).
NH isn't very difficult... fill out the one page form with 3 references and drop off at the local PD...no fee or training required. And this is just for CCW...you can open carry without one...however you can not carry loaded in a vehicle with out the license and that's only good for handguns...rifles cannot be loaded in a vehicle period. That last bit makes it a PIA to hunt with an ATV...
Congrats on your cpl, I laminated mine to keep it looking good will keep it forever....New Hampshire is one of the first free states for the 2nd. They make it easy for out of stater's to obtain one so I think it was a snap to get....
I'd check with the issuing agency and make sure it is ok to laminate it. If they say no, then most business supply places have clear plastic business card holders that may work, or check outdoors / sporting goods stores for plastic hunting license holders.
That's a good tip....I'll check Staples the next time I am there...
