P-95 in home brew pancake on my right side, two spare magazines on the left in a double pouch, nothing quite like having 46 rounds of Ultra Defense 50 grain blue whistlers at your disposal.

If I get to feelin' really insecure, then it is the P-90 in a similar set up, just the larger caliber of .45 ACP makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, even though it is less rounds.

A nice flannel shirt or a vest over the top covers everything quite handily.

Got my Tagua IWB holster Sat. And after 3 doses of Shoe Streacher over 3 days I am now carrying my SR 1911. Was carrying it before but in a fanny pack which was less than ideal. Rides great standing, sitting and walking, love it,

Jack.

I use an SR9c. For me it's my Goldilocks Gun. Not too big, not too small, rides nice in the car next the seat belts and stuff. It's very accurate, I'm just about as good with it as with my SR1911. And there are plenty of nasty rounds to feed through it. Presently I have Remington Golden Sabres, but there is a box of PowRBall on the desk for the next cycle. A Very good reliable compact gun.

I have a home grown Trigger video for the SR pistols:

The weather has recently cooled off here in New England so I have now gone to my alternate carry wardrobe which affords me the opportunity to tote one of my full sized sidearms, my current carry partner is my HK USP Tactical Match .45ACP. It consistently stamps out 1" groups from the 25 yard line, regardless of ammo brand/type used. It's currently stacked with Speer GDHP's and resides on my waist in a custom Galco leather holster. I feel a great sense of relaxation when accompanied by this particular sidearm.

Well I sure don't want all you guys to feel slighted and shown up with all your puny hardware but I have the same under cover and backup gun I've carried from Sea to Sea
a couple of times, and all around this fine country from top to bottom. I'ts probably spent more time in my boot than half of you in this forum have been living.
It's none other than a Charter Arms Undercover, which when I aquired it was touted as the lightest 2" 38 special ever made. Yup its got an aluminum frame. I finally bought some cold blue and touched up the cylinder after over 40+ years of ownership.
Didn't make it shoot any straighter but it's a little prettier. Kind of like putting lipstick on a pig. I haul around a speedloader in my pocket with 5 hollow points, and I made my own IWB holster from scrap leather and an old clip from a cheap Buldog holster. It works a charm and I've been know to wear it 24+ hours at a time with no discomfort.
I just bought an SR9C as a replacement as I feel it's about time to retire the old snubby, to home defense service. Sort of putting it out to pasture don't ya know.
Now I don't want all you boys to get all jealous over my fine shooting iron, so no it's not for sale at any price, my heirs get to fight over it when I'm gone which could be any time now. LOL
I've never felt under armed when carrying it and as I've said it's seen some serious travelling in those 40+ years. So when push come to shove make sure you push real hard because ol' Betsy is going to shove back harder. Put a "Big Grin" here.

I like stories like that. After 40+ years how many rounds have you sent through it?

Jack.

You're kidding me right? How many tanks of gas have you pumped in 40 years LOL I couldn't guess if my life depended on it but I'll say a box or 2.

I noticed you carry the SR9C and I've been looking for a good but inexpensive, around $30+- IWB holster preferably minus. SS only goes so far.
Do you or any of the other guys have good experiences with any you care to share or recommend? I've seen the Tagua holsters on Amazon and they look good but most of the testimonials sound like they were written by kids who haven't any real experience. I made the mistake of giving all my leather working tools to my son-in-law, so I'm kind of sunk, I used to make some pretty good holsters.
Thanks for any help.
