Concealed Carried at work today..

I tried it at work today, and not comfortable, I have a lot of movement during the day. Gonna have to experiment with holsters (IWB) a bit.
I have a thin frame and the work shirts allow to hide a small bulge (I carry an LCP). I had it front just behind the first belt loop (I think it's called appendix carry). Pocket a carry not really an option in jeans without giving it away.

When it gets warmer I'm allowed to wear cargo shorts so I'll be able to pocket carry.
If you have any recommendations I'd love to hear 'em.

If you want to try pocket carry, the Recluse holster works very well in slightly loose fitting jeans.

Seconded and most of my jobs had it specifically prohibited.

At work, the GM, AGM (me), and the Secretary/HR all have our CPL. We work in a manufacturing company that more than once has had someone come in irate because of rumors about their significant other having an affair with someone on the shift, disgruntled over being let go, stalker type boyfriends, you name it!
The policy at work is that you cannot carry weapon unless authorized to do so by management/owner.

Why should hard working honest people be caught off guard by some crazy A-hole who is mad at their GF/BF or just mad at life.

Every kind of a job, business, shopping location, resturant or sporting event is "worth" legally carrying.

1. Pray you never have to defend yourself and think/be aware to detect and avoid threats.
2. Train your mind to detect and avoid as much as you train the skills to defend yourself.
3. Always, when legal, "carry" because if we could know when it was coming, we would not be there!

Got my CCW last year and had been researching holster options for some time.
I finally admitted to myself my prized sr9c is too big to carry except in winter (more clothes). I bought an LC9 Lasermax and love it. Then finally decided on Versacarry for IWB which I feel works very well. Also picked up a Remora for pocket carry. Both of these options are low $ so if they don't work for your particular situation it's not too painful.

I own a small biz located in a not so bad area, except for the drug halfway house down the road...there have been issues. I have a large investment in tools, not to mention my own carcass... so, I absolutely get why you are interested in carrying. You should.

I have both an sr9c and lc9. The sr9c is easy to carry as long as my shirt isn't tucked, be it t-shirt, polo or Hawaiian type shirt. I carry aiwb. Just started carrying a commander sized 1911 yesterday. It's a bit bigger and requires a slightly looser fitting shirt. With the lc9 I can tuck a polo shirt easily.
