What does your CCW or CPL look like?

Inspired by my Michigan CPL I picked up yesterday, what does yours look like? It seems like in Michigan they can vary greatly, so I was curious about the range of IDs out there.

Mine is a blue piece of paper, with the photo I provided to them taped on it, and then when I picked it up I signed it and they laminated it.

It is not the same size as my DL, so I can't put them together in my wallet.

It is laminated like crap, and won't be water resistant/proof as it is not even sealed 100%. It is a fairly thin lamination too.

In general, I am extremely displeased.

Plus, what does it costs for you to get it?

Michigan it is $105 + photo costs + you CCW class fees.

My Oregon CCW is plastic (not laminated) with my photo, signature and a counterfeit-prevention hologram and UV-visible imprint. My Washington CCW is typed (typed!) on card stock and mailed to me to sign and put in my wallet - no photo, no lamination (I laminated it at Kinko's) and no counterfeit-prevention features.

In Oregon, each county issues its own CCW's, and they vary in appearance from county to county.

Kansas looks just like drivers license , laminated with photo, signature and a counterfeit-prevention hologram.

My MA CCW is plastic w/photo printed on it, same size as a DL, no holograms or other anti-counterfeit measures that I can see except for a smaller copy of my fingerprint on the back. Costs $100 and is valid for 6 years.

My NH non resident CCW is plastic, no photo, DL sized, no anti-counterfeit measures that I can see. Costs $100 and is valid for 4 years (better than MA non res which is $100 year and you have to go to Cambridge for your appt.)

The height of a credit card/driver's license, but about a quarter inch wider, so it won't fit in the card slots of my wallet. Would have took a genius to think they should be the same size?

Like you, business card weight paper with cheap laminate, which is peeling at one corner from being bent, in the currency section of my wallet. No photo, just a state seal logo in the corner, and labeled lines with info typed in.

It has somehow lasted almost four years, and I get a new one in 7-14. I hope it's the right size, and better made.

NC's CHP is blue and white, a little bigger than our DL's. It's laminated and does not have a picture on them like our DL's do. That's why you must also carry it with a DL or state ID.

My FL CCW (now a non resident) looks identical to the FL DL's. The CCW's are the same accept the one says non resident. They have picture and all the info like your DL. The FL CCW looks more official, but they both serve their purpose so it doesn't matter to me one way or another.

Ohio is laminated, same size as the OH driver's license.

County of issue is prominent @ top of card, info shown includes name, address, DOB, date of issue, date of expiration, photo, sample signature, and license number.

Michigan is different in each County too

Ours is plastic same size as DL, all one color with contrasting lettering and monochrome photo front with list of PFZs and signature on the back.

Here's an example of the TX driver's license..

And here's an example of the TX CCW license...

They are the same size and printed on the same material. In the 'category' part in the upper right, NSA means NON-Semiautomatic (ie. revolver only license), SA would mean Semiautomatic (ie. any handgun type license). Both licenses are laminated with a clear finish that contains holographic watermarks that can't be seen in these pics. All CCWs in state are issued through the TX DPS.

I agree with that point, but at the same time a license to conceal carry should be something official, secure, and tamper proof in my mind. Not something to be taken lightly. I could change the photo out on this or just make a new one in my office in 10 min.

From the sounds of most people posting so far it could even be used as a viable second form of photo ID if needed.

You have that right. I feel fortunate living in a state that lets me exercise my rights. I'd feel naked without my ccw permits.
