Ruger
LC9
9mm Luger
inside front pocket in a size 03 Blackhawk! Sportster holster. I wash the holster in the washing machine when it gets dirty. The holster tends to come out with the pistol unless I use some other material in my pocket; I use some gummy shelf liner.

The LC9 was fairly new issue when I got mine in July 2011. In every way it was an improvement over my previous carry gun. I liked its size and feel. I like its butter-smooth corners. I had them add a CT laser before I left Scheels. To me it was was a carry gun should be ... even the thumb safety. In another 10 years they may have .45's down to the size of a LCP, but I I'm a fan of 9mm. It does what I want, anyway.

Ruger LCP or LC9 for those lighter days.
HK USPc .45 for colder weather/heavier clothing.

Where? Everywhere I can, legally of course.
Why I chose these? LCP - Perfect sized BUG, LC9 - It met my size/budget criteria. USP - I had $1k just lying around collecting dust, so I bought a USP and night sights... and a holster... and ammo... and magazines...

Like many people I have more than one. All of these have night sights, either Trijicon, Meprolight, or XS. Listed in the order most often carried.

Make - Ruger

Why you chose that specific firearm - Size, weight, 9mm cartridge

Make - S&W
Model - 3913
Caliber - 9mm

Why you chose that specific firearm - IMO maybe the best 9mm pistol ever made

Make Beretta
Model PX4 Subcompact
Caliber 9mm
Where you carry it IWB or OWB belt holster at 4 o'clock
Why you chose that specific firearm - Small size, 13+1 9mm capacity

Make Ruger
Model LCR
Caliber 38 Special
Where you carry it IWB at 4 o'clock
Why you chose that specific firearm - Size, weight, ease of carry, ease of operation

OK, this is not really a carry piece but I have carried it a few times concealed.
Make - Ruger
Model - GP100 4"
Caliber - 357 Magnum
Where you carry it - OWB belt holster at 3 o'clock
Why you chose that specific firearm - Big powerful revolver. What's not to like?

And what is wrong with carrying that? I had a Cimarron Lightning .38 Birds Head I carried for a while in a shoulder rig.

I really wanted the Ruger LCP but the trigger pull was just to long, If I held the gun with a natual grip I couldn't pull the trigger all the was back without changing the point of aim.

I rotate between LCP, SR9c, G26, and G19. Probably going to add a .45 to the rotation soon!

What's my carry weapon?

It depends on my mood. I generally carry the same gun for a period and then I'll switch off, depending on clothing, where I'm going to be or just because.

I live in Phoenix, so it's almost always HOT!!! My Sig P238 is great for a light weight, concealable, great shooting carry weapon, so it my default carry gun.

However, I also have an SR9c and an SR40c. I love them both. The 9 carries more rounds, but the 40's got a bigger punch.

I have an XDm9c which I bought as my EDC, but I only had it a month or two before I broke down and got my SR9c and fell in love with it. But the XDm9c does carry with 19+1!!!

Lately I've been wearing my SR1911, since I've had it for about a year and have rarely carried it.

So what I've carried the most thus far, is the P238 or the SR9c.

However, I've ordered my new primary carry weapon, which I'll be picking up in a few weeks. It's a Colt Defender, 3" 1911, with Commander sized grips, stainless steel, Hogue finger groove grips, 3 dot Novak sights and .45 ACP. I can't wait to get that gun (actually, I can because I have to come up with the rest of the money - I just have held it with a deposit)

I think it's small enough for most attire, hopefully it won't try to pull my pants down as some of my heavier guns do, I love having that big old .45 slug for stopping power, it's just down right beautiful, IMHO 1911's have the perfect trigger and it's a Colt! What's not to like?

It's a little pricey at $1,000, but cheaper than some Kimber Ultra Carry's at $1,200+. If you notice, all my carry weapons have a 1911 style thumb safety and I carry them all cocked and locked (one at a time ). So, muscle memory may not be perfect between them all, but they're all (except for the XD9c) semi-autos with thumb safeties.

I've tried to carry my Berettas (92 & 96FS), but they are just way too big!

So, my new EDC will be the Colt Defender (about 3 weeks from now! )

What's your carry weapon?

Ruger SR9c 9mm
Why? Because it is a nice shooter and holds plenty of ammo.
Carry in a n82Tactical Pro Holster at 3:30 IWB
Carry it where ever I can.

You want a good carry weapon try a SR9c or SR40c

What do you carry and why. I'm looking for your primary carry piece.

Make: Springfield Armory
Model: XD9cs
Caliber: 9mm
Where you carry it: Holster on right hip
Why you chose that specific firearm: size and 16 in the magazine

I just bought a Ruger LC9 that I hope to use as my primary carry for summer.
Make: Ruger
Model: LC9
Caliber: 9mm
Where you carry it: front right pocket in a pocket holster
Why you chose that specific firearm: American made, reputation of Ruger.

If it were a bit smaller, I would love to carry my Ruger SR1911 24/7.
