Conceal Carry at Cinn Zoo ?

Does anyone know if the Cincinnati Zoo has metal detectors is CCW friendly or not ?

FYI-- UPDATE: I just found out from a friend that the Zoo does have signs posted so I will comply and will be leaving mine in car. Everyone seems is so paranoid these days about guns and gun laws after the recent public shootings, but I read some posts that the neighborhood around the zoo is pretty rough would have liked to been able to carry especially while walking from car to zoo, but.. I guess I can't now... I have never understood places that bar CCW especially like concerts most arenas do not allow CCW inside if I am a thug I am thinking perfect spot to rob someone is someone coming out of concert or in this case the zoo because I know they are not carrying ! ALSO ... If someone is crazy enough to go off and shoot innocent people like some of the recent morons... do you really think a sign saying leave guns out is going to stop them ! sorry guys I will get off my soap box now I do respect the law and respect the right of businesses to post to ban CCW on their property so I do comply whenever I am aware of the ban.

No metal detectors that I know of, but it is posted as "no guns". Signs at parking lot entrances and at most (if not all) walk-in gates. You would be able to lock your gun up in your car, but it's no-go within the zoo itself. Used to not be this way, but that changed a year or so ago.

add: If you go in off Vine Street and park in the big lot, the way it's fenced it's pretty secure and often has attendants walking around or at the street/entrance. There are attendants at the exit, since that's where you pay for parking. You walk to the main gate of the zoo thru a walkway over Vine Street. You're never off zoo property or on the street.

see: MAP

The area to the north and east of the Zoo (Vine/Forest) is residential and looks a little rough. The area south of the Zoo (Erkenbreker) is dominated by Cincinnati Childrens Medical Center and is fine. You can enter from Erkenbreker.

Conceal Carry at Zoo

Take the guns from good people while criminals carry illegally.

Hmmm, I gun range charges admission, so I wonder???

Anti-gunners are maroons. If someone wants to do harm they are going to carry regardless of what a sign says. It would be nice to be able to protect ones self.

I'm just saying.

The Memphis zoo is the same way, the surrounding neighborhoods are crime ridden - - well, OK, the whole city is crime ridden. But, on the bright side, I don't live there anymore.
