It is a terrible thing to have to shoot someone. It is an even more terrible thing to be unarmed and watch INNOCENT people killed over a few dollars. Well done !

I like a story with a happy ending. It would have been allot happier if they both were killed.
I liked the one thugs comments. He didn't think anyone would be armed. Surprise.

If they are out of jail, they most likely will vote a few times. The Democraps don't seem to think being a felon, an illegal or being dead is an issue that should stop them from voting multiple times as long as they are Democraps.

I really liked some of the comments below the news story. No one posted anything negitive about the CCW'er shooting the bad guys. More supporters is a good thing.

My concern is for the shooter...hopefully he won't face charges of assault, attempted murder, etc....over defending himself and the other patrons! It wouldn't surprise me if they came back and said they were just ordering coffee when the shooter attacked them!

| Unfortunately, this is a valid concern, especially since the CCW holder shot the one guy twice in the butt as he was leaving the scene. You just know some attorney will pick up on that, claiming the threat was over when his client turned & ran. Oh, and considering he was shot in the butt, his attorney will likely also claim damages for inhibiting his client's ability to sit around and collect welfare checks...

Hopefully the fact that these two "upstanding youths" entered the cafe with a baseball bat and a gun will provide a legitimate reason for the CCW holder to have defended his personal safety and the safety of the others in the cafe by driving the thugs away with gunfire. Shooting one of them in the butt just emphasized getting the point across that "you guys need to leave now and don't come back".
My concern is that these two punks were not killed, nor seriously wounded. You know the law is not going to lock them up for very long. I'm sure their defense attorneys will have some sob story about tough childhoods, discrimination, being basically "good kids" who made a mistake, and boo hoo.
These punks will know who shot them, so they are likely to go after him at some point.
I hope he's a damned good shot, and has had some good training because he may be ambushed by these two and a bunch of their thug buddies.

hours after his release from the hospital, henderson, who talked about the pain he feels in his buttock and hip, said the plan was to “barge in, get the money and leave.” he said “he never expected anyone to be armed.”
