Primary CCW is 45 ACP though I also carry 357 Mag and 380 ACP on occasion! No I don't CCW 2 guns! Primary and a reload is enough to fight to an exist or a rifle!!

I may or may not have answered this very same question here before, but I'll answer it again.

My primary carry caliber is the .45 acp. Except for when forced by official doctrine. Then again when no one was looking the .45 acp was there anyway.

After fourty years of packing and using this baby, I have just become set in my ways and am comfortable in that.

Just everyone keep in mind, SHOT PLACEMENT, trigger control, and strong potty training in the past will get you through the day. : )

I don't think you should limit yourself to just one caliber. There may be times that the only gun you can carry is a very small one. Remember the first rule in a gun fight is to have a gun. Frank

Well, I have a XD 9mm Subcompact that I have been carrying most recently, but in the winter I'll be switching back to my P345.

The "flying ashtrays" are truly a force to be reckoned with! Some of the .45 Long Colt loadings available today are ferocious. Corbons DPX .45colt+P will ruin any bad guys day and I think buffalo bore has some big boy hitters too. I use my Ruger super alaskan 454/.45 long colt as a monster .45 colt snubby, no need for 454 in my parts and it only weighs one more ounce than the 4" GP100.

I split my carry between an SP in .357 and a 1911 in .45.

I carry a 642 about 75% of the time. The rest is split among different calibers depending on the situation.

Ok,

I carry a 9mm (15 + 1) for work, but prefer to carry a 45 ACP 5" (7 + 1) 1911 for everyday carry.

That is until I buy a snub nosed SP101 in .357, then that will end up being my carry piece through the warm weather.

After carrying my glock 19 for over five years I have purchased and switched to the sp101. I like the more powerful round and ease of carrying this little revolver. It hides very easy.

I don't have a real carry piece yet. My 3" GP is a little bigger then I would like as a full time CCW. Once I get my permit, I plan to reward myself with a shiney, new SP-101.
