JACKSONVILLE, N.C. -- Authorities say medical officials found no signs of injury during an exam of a man suspected of smuggling a handgun into a North Carolina jail.
Onslow County Sheriff Ed Brown told The Daily News of Jacksonville that a medical exam on Friday showed that 22-year-old Michael Leon Ward of Canton, Ga., had suffered no injuries.
Deputies said last week a gun was found inside the cell of Canton, who used another person's identity when he was booked. Authorities wanted medical officials to evaluate Canton for possible injuries to his rectum, where deputies think he concealed the unloaded .38-caliber, six-barrel revolver.
North Carolina deputies stopped Ward last week for speeding. He is wanted on a murder charge in Atlanta.
Ward was being held at the Onslow County jail without bond.

A six barrel .38? What the heck it that? There has to be some other explanation for how the weapon got there.

There was no rust on the weapon. Apparently, it had recently been browned.

Hmmm... Get your lube and concealed carry done in one shot! Maybe after dropping the soap a few times he can manage a S&W 500. Ok... I just grossed myself out... You can't poke out your minds eye

i'm just curious as to how he aimed from that position? i've seen strippers that could pick up dollars with thier a$$ but man, firing off a gun from there has to be hard!!!
