Smart Carry Opinions

So as any new CCW holder I would assume, I've tried several holster options to see what works for me.

I have the LCR .357 with Hogue Grip for reference.

Attempt 1) - DeSantis Nemesis - Works great when I want to pocket carry
Attempt 2) - Galco Tuc and Go - Didn't like how little it covered of the trigger guard and was uncomfortable. Returned
Attempt 3) - Crossbreed Supertuck Deluxe - Great quality holster, but don't think any IWB will work for me. I don't like the fit and think the only way I could make it work is buy all new pants, bigger sized, and that simply isn't an option at this point. Returned
Attempt 4) - Smart Carry - Seems to be you love it or hate it, and lots of arguments over it in regards to comfort, 'placement', and drawing speed. For me, I like it and conceals pretty well.

Those of you who have a Smart Carry, how do you like it, and how do you position it?

I've found the lower it is, the more comfortable, the higher it is the more concealable. So still working on the 'sweet spot'.

Thanks for your opinions and tips.

conditionyellow is an unknown quantity at this point
I have very occasionally wore the Smart Carry. For the most part I don't care for it. I live if south Florida and at the beach with a bathing suit works good with it. Driving a car with it is difficult to draw if needed. Kinda-sorta close to it is the Belly Band. That's what I use almost every day if I'm not pocket carrying my LCR on the bicycle. I usually carry my SR9C in it but the Belly Band with the LCR is very discreet and comfortable.

i have a closet full of holsters that have limitations. winter is much easier to carry my larger framed ruger pistols but warmer months i find the lcp in my front pocket is my best bet. i bought the lcp because i had no luck matching a holster to my pistol, i figured out i needed a different carry weapon instead.

I carry my LCR in my pocket 90% of the time in a Blackhawk #4.

On occassion I'll carry 4o'clock on the belt with a Yaqui style slider. Holds the gun well and conceals fine with a jacket or sweatshirt.

If I'm doing something active (running, hiking) I have a Galco branded hoslter with a thumb strap, but it rarely gets worn.

Galco-LCR-Paddle-Lite-Holster-Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc.

I'm convinced there is no perfect holster.
