well, the LCP it without a doubt the easiest to carry as a bug, and is barely noticeable in the pocket. but i found it hard to shoot (but is actually quite accurate... go figure... YMMV).
i would go with the LCR (and do). but i it all depends on how you dress and so on...
in the summer, even the LCR seems big... but i shoot it awesome.
Bought my son in law a 380 Colt Gov model. That was a few years ago. He used an ankle holster while on duty. Don't think I would carry that way.
It shot good. Surprised me shooting a swinging target at 25 yds. Wish I had bought one to keep.
Carrying a NAA .22 is alright as long as it is not your only carry gun. It makes a great belly gun but thats about it. I can see carrying a NAA .22 by it's self if that is your ONLY option as it would be better than nothing.
Mine is a Taurus m905 in my pocket.
9mm, 2 inch, custom carry package including DAO/bobbed hammer conversion and pretty extreme melt job.
It's a great shooter. I don't carry it all the time, because it's all steel so it isn't light but it sure packs a good punch with 9mm+p SD loads. I don't carry spare ammo for it but I do keep a couple loaded moon clips in the glove box.
Pocket carry my LCR-357 all the time (sold my 11 yr-old S&W 638 to get this revolver)--its a great BUG. I also carry a Glock 26/27, used to pocket carry a S&W 1911 sub-compact--have carried my SP-101. LCR's are a great BUG, grips and all--they work--they work well -- Code-4
My Ruger LCP rides BUG all the time. It is great for the BUG role, as it is the thinnest, lightest, and simplest of all the autos out there... well in the $300 price range at least.
My BUG GUN is a Glock model 29 sub-compact in 10mm!
