I RE-qualified yesterday.

DUNNO? Looks close enough to a passing grade to me.

CZ-75b. Duo tone, not that it matters.

Auto Ordnance 1911. 248 of 250 on the Texas qual course. Should have aced it but the rain was making it hard to keep a firm grip!

What is this "gun you used to qualify" that you speak of

Here in the people's republic of Massachusetts, licenses are permitted town by town. The only one I'm aware of the requires live fire to get a license is Boston and last I knew you had to use their old POC revolver.

The place I took my firearms safety course did live fire during part of the class (20 rounds out of a MKII and 10 out of a S&W .22 revolver) and stamped your certificate stating you actually have shot a gun, but it wasn't REQUIRED to get a license.

I am a former resident of Commie-chusetts, now living in South Carolina. During the many years I lived there, I never even bothered to try and get a firearm. It was just too much of a hassle. As a SC resident, the whole procedure was pretty easy and straight forward. I qualified with a Bersa Thunder 380.

In the socialist state of Kalifornia, from what I read, I can't just carry any weapon. The weapons I will carry concealed have to be specifically stated on the application and permit.
My only available choices are the compact 1911, SR9C, and LCRx 38sp. Based on range results, the LCRx is a no go. I will try to qualify with the 1911 (my 1st choice) and/or the SR9C.
Sacramento county is shall issue, thanks to our strong pro-2A Sheriff Scott Jones.
