I've had to get a CWP in three states due to moving. First time with a Ruger Mark II. Second was with a S&W model 66. Third was with a Walther P99. Wow, just realized this was my 2000th post!

For the Missouri CC permit, you are required to shoot a revolver & a semi-auto & we used Rugers, SP-101's & Mark III's & it went well.

I qualified with a hammerless SP101 .357 myself, and there was no way to count the holes. A few fliers here and there, but basically one big hole. Why did I trade that gun off????

Nice shooting Weblance. I was a bit luckier as it was sunny and slightly above freezing the day I qualified . BTW ... Remind me not to wear any duct tape on the front of my shirt when you are in the neighborhood

In my county, in CA, we are "allowed" 3 firearms listed on our CCW.
I used my 2, full-size Beretta PX4 9mm and .38/.3857 SP101.

Back when I qualified we shot at 50 ft and I used a 22 Beretta. The instructor asked me not to use my 44 mag. Because he didn't want the women to be scared from noise and see recoil. I shot a 98%. Now you don't need to shoot. Just take a test.

Used a Glock 23 because we had to shoot so many rounds and I didn't want to have to reload my GP that many times.
