Ideal Conceal (Still Waiting)

When this new concealed, 2 shot .380 was introduced to the public last year, I was very interested in obtaining one (or two). Not so much for daily carry but more because I thought it was a novel idea and a potential collectable.

I signed up for the email updates to stay on top of development and marketplace launch. Still waiting.

Really glad I didn't plunk down a deposit to be among the first on my block to get one.

I went to the link you gave. I recall reading about this little gun a while back. The CEO is apologizing for the delays to those who plunked money down and is willing to reimburse. Can't say that's a bad thing. Took him more time than he anticipated to get the legal approvals and a couple of critical design changes. He stated that they may make their first production run in June. An interesting little firearm.

Yep. I thought so too when I first heard about it. I don't think I'd ever carry it as my primary -nor as a backup. Like I said, I thought it'd be a good investment as a curio or novelty. Figured if it did get into production, the feds (at the time) would probably outlaw it soon enough. And once it was no longer on the market, I'd sell one for a profit and keep the other as a safe queen.

I wouldn't want it for concealed carry since I'd have to unfold it and be left with only two shots, though.

+1 fun to own - not practical to carry for SD

I don't see the point. Is an LCP too big to pocket?

The address of the company (at least when first introduced) was Monticello, MN. The next time I was in that town, I drove to thir plant and did confirm that they existed. Haven't taken the time to see if they are in the same building. I do see some of their brochures at some of the local range.
