NRA Classes - Question

I'm not sure where else to put this question so apologies if it's in the wrong place.
I'm sure there are many here that are probably NRA instructors so here goes...
For the Basic Pistol Instructor Class some listings state that you need to bring proof that you passed the test from "Phase 1" I am guessing that is phase 1 (Online Portion) of the "blended" Basic Pistol Shooting class. It doesn't say that you need to prove you took phase 2. I have heard rumors they are revamping the online class options, and I am wondering if that is why things don't seem to match up. I can't imagine needing to take phase 1 but not phase 2.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thanks in advance for any insight!

In the Pistol Instructor class I took, most of it involves teaching Phase 2, so basically, you're taking Phase 2 as part of the Pistol Instructor class.

I found the Pistol Instructor class a mere 2 weeks before the class dates, so I basically had 2 weeks to get the class material, blaze through the Phase 1 Online portion and study up on the material, so I could demonstrate the ability to teach.

Fortunately, the Phase 2 exam, as well as the Instructor exam was Open Book. Like many Instructor courses, they don't expect a New Instructor to know everything, as much as wanting you to show that you know where to find the correct answers.

Hope this helped.

Thanks! That does make sense! I wonder what will happen if they do end up revamping the online classes as has been rumored. I suppose the worst will be that I end up having part of the instruction twice.
Thanks again for the response!
