Weather doesn't affect my carry choice as much as location/ environment. I always have a .380 (TCP) in my pocket when I leave home. Depending on where I'm going I might have a .357, .40S&W, or .45 on a hip or under an arm. Only the 1911 in a shoulder holster is weather dependent since it takes a jacket to conceal.

I carry LCP II, Walther PPK, or Bodyguard 380 (but NAA .22 mag while cycling) year-round. I think the .380 is fine for self defense - I use Ruger ARX ammo, btw.

I carried an LC380 year round until it grew up and became a .45 ACP.

Now the LC380 is a BUG and rides along in an ankle holster.

I just bought an LCP for my wife. I either carry an SR9c or an LC9s when I need more discreet carry or the SR9c prints. Now I'm seriously considering an LCP for me too - What a pleasure to carry and I shoot it as well or better than my LC9s. The LC9s may get retired in favor of an LCP. I thought I would pocket carry the LC9s but it's really just a tad too big for that. The LCP is likely to become my #2 carry.
