Even the media is a disgrace, reporting b.s. that's making people hostile and react irrational.

These workplaces and businesses posting NO GUNS allowed are ignorant. They think a sign is going to keep the idiots and terrorists out of the building? Its an open invite. These types of wackos search for easy prey.

IMO - If a person has applied and received a conceal carry license then they should be allowed to do so. As long as the gun is as stated on the license... 'concealed'
The only place guns should not be allowed to carry is in a court house. There are plenty of officers around with guns in these places. Just my 2c on the NO GUNS allowed B.S.
Glad to hear that the OP's cousin is OK.

Sad to say is that Corporate America (and Globally as well, it's even worse in UK) just doesn't get it. I was given the duty of writing my company's Anti-Weapons policy. I fought long and hard, to the point of nearly downright refusing to write it (and thereby losing my job). Made me physically sick and burned some bridges between our GM and me...I needed the job, so ended up writing it the way they wanted it. Still leaves a bad taste in my mouth...

I even brought it up again when we were given the instructional video on Active Shooters that gives the Run-Hide-Fight levels. I said that I'm going to be sure my wife sues the Company for giving me the instruction to fight a shooter, but only allows me to throw a stapler...

Sad state of affairs indeed.

They didn't waste anytime getting her on the pills uh. Well, what can one say right, I guess just talk to her and tell her to hang in there. If worst comes to worst she might be able to file for disability claiming PTSD.

I was amazed or perhaps shocked a few weeks ago to read the Surgeon Generals report that said 7 out of 10 Americans are on dope. Can you imagine that, how many are out there behind the wheel of vehicles.

America has become the land of dopers. Got any issue pop the magic pill.
Good luck to her.

Oh yeah ! I started my 6th decade last year and I was never a fighter but I could at least run if not talk my way out of it. Of course fight if I had to. Those days are over, my body has gone to h ell. I've been beat, robbed and held hostage at the end of rifle.

As I sit here typing this my snubbie is sitting next to the computer. I don't even take the trash out without in my pocket. If I see it coming (which it's highly doubtful as it was when I was younger) I'm not going out without a fight.

And the criminal element today is as bad as it's ever been. They don't care or respect anyone or anything.
