I carry a LCR 38+p in a Galco OWB and don't tuck my shirt so it is covered, my jacket is as long as my shirt so on or off my bike it is concealed. I never want anyone to know that I am carrying but it is your choice to do that.

Even in the hottest weather I have no problems wearing a motorcycle vest (denim) with a CCW pocket. Concealed needs to be concealed and this works for me.

I pocket carry in a pocket holster, I carry my LCR .38 sp +p when riding. Like Petrol and Powder said I always have a riding jacket on, don't want any road rash I've already put one bike down hitting gravel. In the right jacket pocket I carry a speed loader. At my age I don't think I could ride and draw and shoot at the same time so I just pocket carry even though inaccessible while riding. Pray I never have to use it.

I also have an LCP that I carry in a pocket holster in cargo shorts, but I don't wear shorts on the bike.

What are all you doing for conceal carry during the hot months when there is no jacket to hide everything?

Thanks,

Steve
Steve, not to hijack but once the season gets here, I'd be open for a ride.
I used to live in Kittery and now in N. Conway NH.
I first started thinking about CCW while dual sport riding in Wells ME. Came across a campsite deep in the woods in an area I'd never been in before.
Riding the Connie, not so much.
Can't wait till spring

ive been riding and carrying for years, open carried a 1911 for a long time and then i got this little LCR and had it in my right hand front pocket until i realized the problem with switching from throttle to dig the gun out, so this coming year ill be getting an IWB and carry on the left side.... will also be training my left hand to draw and shoot more than ever now...
ride safe!

Greetings,

ATGATT with First Gear mesh jacket. Agree that the mesh seems cooler than just a tee.
Alien Gear IWB LH at 5 o'clock. So far, so good. Yeah, 5 o'clock does get a little bitty on longer trips. For most trips, no problem.
As for the "Gun Free Zones"; lockable side bags baby!

I ride a Classic and usually wear bib overalls. I pocket carry an old Colt Cobra .38, and will tuck a 1911 somewhere on the scoot. When I get off I tuck it somewhere on me.

Does this count? Or do you think it's too conspicuous?

I have a couple of bikes, whether the pistol is on my person or in a cubby in my cockpit, it's within reach when I'm on 2 wheels (often both locations). Most often, I'm appendix carrying or pocket holstering (partially out the top) an LCP, which is no sweat to conceal.

I used to ride, as well as cycle, a lot with a G19 IWB SOB 6 o'clock, but on a sport bike, it was plain sight when my shirt blew up. I'm never one to act this way or approve of this mentality when carrying, except for when I'm on 2 wheels and on the road in motion - i.e. the condition when my shirt would be blowing up - I'm really OK with having the equivalent to a big "keep your distance" billboard on my back. I've been hit a couple times when on 2 wheels by people with more lugnuts than myself, not because they didn't see me at all, but because they didn't think to try to give enough room.

Talking Always carry.....

Owb pancake with the 45's otherwise have sp101 in inside pocket of me cut....

44 mag laid out on dash always gets a look or two, hehe... Stays in place if running your windshield.....

Open carry is good here in AZ so pretty much any way any how.

Having been knocked off and slid a good way when a car ran a red light I highly recommend a leather jacket. I carried a 1911 for years inside the pocket of a Navy G2. Its not hot inside leather if you leave it partly open as it insulates you from the sun, which will suck you dry quicker than you think. I once crossed the mojave in july and only needed a coke to rejuice, while there was a group of chopper guys there in short-sleeve and bare almost prostrate from dehydration.

I don't have a bike anymore but when I did I always carried around 3:30 with a tuckable holster. I kept my shirt tucked in around the holster so the wind wouldn't expose my pistol.

I had a Harley up until 2 weeks ago, now riding a different brand but I still carry the same way. A denim jacket one size larger to conceal my 1911 commander in a shoulder holster. Today I went out and bought a new Browning High Power 9mm and it fits the same holster as my Para 1911. As soon as I run about 500 rounds thru it and get a different mag pouch I will start switching from one gun to another. Be safe. Dave
