NH resident is $10 all in they decided to whack the non-residents $100 and now require a copy of their resident CCL. That changed a couple years ago.

As for NJ I hope the good people of the state can get the freedom they should have to protect themselves.

NJ has a total police state

mentality. In my 55 years there, my personal experience was you

didn't want to trouble the police, if you could avoid it. They're OBVIOUSLY

ARE NOT THERE TO HELP YOU, if anyone, except perhaps themselves.

IME, it was always counter-productive to summon them. "Call the police."

Yeah, right.

why i never want to see christie hold any national office: as governor of nj he could have done alot for peaceable gun owners, but he is consistently a pandering coward. now christie is sucking up to trump looking for a cabinet position. i hope the donald can see through christie.

Man $500 in Cal. Total B.S. Thought Ma. was bad enough at $100. Worse in the last couple years is Ma. becoming a "may issue" for long guns too. Am very concerned about upcoming election. Supporting NRA-ILA more now.

Yeah, somebody asked God if Pew Jersey would ever get fair CCW licensing. His reply

was "Yeah, but not in MY lifetime.".

I feel your pain I lived in NJ for the first 26 years of my life..........if my parents hadn't retired to PA and I didn't need somewhere to stay when I got out of the Army, thus deciding to settle in PA I would still be a NJ resident. I hope this goes through for you guys, law abiding NJ residents deserve the same ability to defend and protect themselves as any other US citizen.

The only way NJ gets CCW is if they lose on the issue at SCOTUS. Not likely in my lifetime.

Like many others have posted "I will believe it when I see it". NJ politicians will never go for CCW. Hell, it takes an act of God to just get a permit to purchase a handgun. From what I have heard, just to make a handgun purchase; personal interviews, 3 references check, spousal interview, interviewing of neighbors, FBI and state fingerprinting, etc. YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME! Again, this is just to make a handgun purchase......

When I was stationed (Military) in NJ back in the 80's, there was a NJ politician that said he had a plan for NJisns to buy as many handguns as they wanted. His plan was that you purchased your handgun and had to shoot it at the same range, cleaned it in the designated area, and than checked it for storage it at the range in a big vault. You would never allowed be allowed to remove the firearm from the facility.

Who thinks up this crap? Even retired NJ LEO's have to jump through hoops to get a CCW in NJ. And than, a condition of their CCW is riddled with restrictions.

So, in closing, CCW ain't going to happen in NJ.

I will NEVER call the police here in NJ. They are nothing but "policing for profit" on a state-wide basis. You're lucky if they prove to be useless. People think lack of respect for police is due to BLM or some other nonsense. I have exactly the same respect for police that they have for me, i.e. none.

If you think their procedures for residents are ridiculous, how about the traps for the unwary non-residents? Have you ever seen the penalty for having ANY hollowpoints in NJ? Get caught with a 50-round box of CCI .22 HP and that amounts to 50 felonies!!! I had to be the bearer-of-bad-news for my wife during the ammo shortage because no way in hell was I transporting her armload of .22's returning to NY from North Carolina [thru NJ].

Don't give up hope! The DPRI went from full blown no-carry to a watered down version of shall issue. We are lots better than before. Our previous governor is the only one of the previous three who is not doing or just paroled from the joint. Moral of the story.............don't ever give up hope!

I haven't given up hope on the People's Republic of NJ. To give up hope you would have to have had hope in the first place.
