How often do you carry?

Do you carry everywhere you go, like even to a wedding or funeral? I am carrying at work because of the possibility of thieves, as I already posted. I don't always carry when I go out though, I don't usually go out alone anyway. If I'm wearing long pants I'm probably carrying. If im wearing a skirt, a dress or shorts I'm probably not.

Pretty much...every day!

Murphy's Law is my nemesis...meaning, if I don't have one I will need it vs. if I have one (interpret as I am prepared) I will not need one!

Hopefully the latter applies and not the former...but why tempt fate?

since I obtained my first license in the mid 70"s. carrying a pistol is less stressful and easier than carrying a police officer. have never needed one, and hope that continues. were I a female it would be even more important. being "liberated" means taking responsibility for your own safety and protection. stay safe young lady.

Yes I carry everywhere, (including church) what I carry depends solely on the weather, if it is cool out I carry a concealed .45acp Sig Ultra Compact, if it is warm, but not hot, my little 9mm, if it is really hot, I carry a little pocket .380 in my pocket. BTW, although having retired from a southern California PD, I generally stay out of that state if I can help it. ;)

I'm guilty of not carrying all that much. I need to change that habit. I got my permit last year primarily because of all the car chase shootouts that are becoming more and more frequent down here. I do usually carry in my vehicle. I figure when the bad guy shooter crashes (as is often the case) I don't want to be the victim of a car jacking for his getaway. I want him to be the victim of his actions, not me or my family.

every day without exception except where not permitted, which is pretty much just my bank. heres a funny, theres a local dept store where i live that doesnt post a no firearms symbol on thier door but will ask you to go put your gun in your car if they see it, i carry in there on purpose, thats where the girlfriend works.

Mine too is usually based on where I am going. Here is New Castle there isn't ever much going on so if we go into town I usually dress much more casual - elastic waistband shorts, T-shirt and slip-on tennis shoes.

My wife jokes about me carrying and usually comments when I don't tuck in my T-shirt she knows. If she is unsure she manages to bump my side or lightly tap that area with the back of her hand - then she knows.

Most other times I try to carry and I am going to do everything I can to up that percentage of times. But I don't like the thought of ending up somewhere I have to leave my gun in the vehicle.

As I once heard Suzanna Hupp answer, "Everywhere and always."

None of us will get to select where, when, who or how evil may befall us. Be prepared.

By the way, rumor has it that Murphy was an optomist.

Everywhere, all the time, except when prohibited by Law and then it's locked up in my car. It should be part of your normal apparel, like a watch, cell phone, shoes, wallet, etc. Just like my plastic, I never leave home without it.

I carry upon every opportunity. I cannot carry at work, but it is in my vehicle while at work. I carry upon every opportunity because I am not good at guessing when and where evil will choose to strike. I carry upon every opportunity so I can be ready when and if evil chooses to come after me.

I am still getting used to carrying, but I do when I am able to. I still need to think of carrying to do it or I will walk out of the house without my gun

I can't at work which is a bummer for obvious reasons (food delivery, includes on Mil base). I also tend to not carry when i go to the gym because gym clothes dont allow it so i dont bring it with me.

70% of the time I'm armed. But heres the break down of when I'm not armed;
1% I'm in the shower.
2% I'm in bed.
1% I'm wrestling with my 6yo
1% I'm hanging out in the house, un-armed
25% Of the time I'm working my job and have to be unarmed (empty Holster) in the jail.
