I have a 3 inch SP101 I recently bought back around Xmas a Tagua IWB thumbreak holster for it. I might have to do suspenders to do IWB carry the Ruger SP101 really isn't the most idea gun for CCW carry. But this gun is now my gun I'll use when I go out riding in my UTV. My other carry gun is my LCRX that fits in my SP101 Holsters.

Ace holster. Was about $10 and actually conceals a 3" SP IWB. Let's the gun sit a little bit lower than many holsters.

I carry my DAO 2.25" sp101 in crossbreed appendix holster or very rarely in a smart carry holster.

I really like carrying my 2 inch SP101 and do so often. I have enough "figure" that it pretty much disappears. This Winthrop OWB works fine for me even in summer. Funny. In the old days I used to choose my t-shirts based on what graphic was on them...now I choose them based on how they "hang".

3" .357 in a Remora IWB simply snugged up with a belt. Grip is wood, which I think helps concealment comfort, reduces printing, and definitely aids handling. No bother at all despite weight and size. It actually surprises me how nice it rides.

I have a 9mm SP-101 in a strong side OWB Galco holster. Nice gun, but not that great for CCW, prefer my S&W VE in the .40 SW.

I carry my SP101s in a variety of ways that accomodate sitting in a car or at a desk. Under my dress shirt in a deep conceal shoulder holster works well, over a tee shirt. Similarly in a belly band at 12:00 position (with dress shirt ruffled just a bit to create a suitable air gap).

I also have gotten used to twin back-up revolvers on my ankles, using left and right Galco ankle gloves. Again, this works because I am not tromping around during my work day, and I can access my ankle holsters from a sitting position.

When I CC I "IWB" it like I CC all my EDC revolvers and semi auto's. I pocket carry my two 380's.

I carry mine appendix using this holster purchased on ebay from Gary C's, it is a very high quality holster that does print a little. I'm also 6'1' and 195lbs, not worried so much about it showing were 50% around here wear their guns open

2.25" SP in either:
- Simply Rugged IWB/OWB (always IWB) 2:30
or
- Ramora w/Uticlip 2:30
or
- Ramora w/no clip right front pocket (2:30).
Weight isn't an issue because my other carry (2:30) is a full-size Beretta PX4 9mm w/10 rd (in CA) or 17 rd (in America).

Mine carries very comfortably in a Simply Rugged pancake; mounted on an appropriate quality gunbelt of course.

I sometimes carry my 4 inch SP-101 cross draw comfortably during the hot and humid days of summer.

[QUOTE=weblance;1367366]I tried to carry the same revolver(2"DAO) in a pocket holster, but its simply too heavy for my comfort. I dont like a belt, but wear suspenders. The SP bounced around and wanted to pull my pants down.

weblance, your SP sounds like one of my old girlfriends
