Lee real's in ROA

Anyone use Lee 200 or 250 Real boolets in their ROA's. Looking for an
accurate hunting load for my ROA. By the way, what are the twist rate of the ROA?
Thanks, Bill

The internet seems to think 1 in 30 is the "Normal" twist for black powder revolvers, and the Ruger Old Army is listed as having 1 in 16 twist.

I have used those in my Old Army's years ago, and they were quite accurate. Don't recall what weight they were? Lubed with Bore Butter and about 30 grains of 3F if I remember.

At about 40 feet they were a tad better than a ball, but I would imagine at longer distances they would outperform a .457" ball.

Also tried them with Pyrodex pellets in a friends 7" OA Stainless with non adjustable "Cowboy" type sights years ago. Very nice and accurate. Love to find one of those models of OA.
