It's been a while since I shot black powder, but I used to do a lot of it. I have a CVA .50 cal Hawken rifle I built years ago from a kit, and a Navy Arms .451 Tryon Creedmore BP target rifle. Also have 2 black powder handguns including a CVA Colt Walker reproduction and a .22 pepperbox reproduction I also put together from a kit. I would have loved to pick up the ROA back in the day when they were still made. Maybe some day I'll find a nice stainless at auction...I'd like to get back into the smoke poles again...

Sure do,,,, 3pr. OMV's 44-40 all 3 bbl. lengths, 1pr.SS OMV 38-40/40SW, & 1pr. blue OMV 38/40's converted from 357mag. Why??, 'cause I don't like "shiny" guns,,, that's just me. Yep I love my Rugers and black powder. The dark side had cookies !!
