I like some of the replicas, just with they didn't have to put all the import and proof markings on them.
I have a 1851 Navy made my Lyman that was bought in 1977. Thousands of rounds through it and only replaced e barrel wedge once.
Have 6 of the Colt Signature Series stored away. Too ad Colt won't recognize them since all they did is license their name to them even with the continuing serial numbers.

I started shooting with a Hi Standard 36 black powder revolver. It was a copy of griswold and gunnison The parts were made in Italy by Pietta if I remember and assembled in Connecticut. It was fun and I occasionally still shoot it. I now have to drive to pa for a black powder shooting sesion.
