This is the most childish thread I've ever seen on this forum. That being said I own Rugers and Uberti's as well as Pietta's. I think if Uberti did not come along and save the Colt Single Action from fading away into History. We wouldn't be able to enjoy them as well today.

Ruger just followed the Italians lead and then failed to stay in the market. Fortunately the Italians continue to keep the old school six guns alive. Ruger still makes modern incarnations of them which I own a few of. But make no mistake.....I will always own Italian reproductions of them and shoot them always.

Glad you like your Rugers............but this is a ridiculous statement. Several guns in several categories are much better than what Ruger makes. As said, you can like what you like, but have some respect for people who don't feel the same

All right. Sorry if I hurt feelings. But I've shot the inferior imports. I saw lacking quality. Started with a P,,, loose and cheap. Übertis front sight looks homemade. Guess I prefer quality!

Right after finding my ROA, I ordered a Lee double mold for .457" ball. I cast my own from stick-on wheelweights, and they shoot very well.
