In case it's not aware to you...............it seems nobody cares what you think. You prefer a Ruger, we understand, but that doesn't mean EVERYBODY wants one. If you want period correct, the Ruger is NOT that

In the case next to that stainless Ruger Old Army

is a Freedom Arms Premier Grade. While I do like Ruger and own more of that brand handgun than any other, you'd be hard pressed to find a better made single action. Of course, those are $2800. If the ROA had enjoyed sales similar to the Italian repros, Ruger would still be making them. Ruger's foray into muzzle loading was, in my view, a bit odd and ill-timed. Their inline, for example, was not terribly well received and followed on the heels of Remington's 700ML. Both were, like the ROA, reworks of smokeless designs and ended up overwhelmed by cheaper, shoddier imports.

I have several models of the 77/50 it's a high power rifile! Very accurate. I'm a Ruger fan nothing else shoots as good as a Ruger.

Sorry about my broken post, phone is messing up

I wanted to add that I'm glad you enjoy your Rugers. That said, show a little respect for those inferior repros, without which you wouldn't have an Old Army to shoot. They were around before Ruger got into the game and are still on the active duty roster today. And, if you go to a shoot like we have at my club, I suggest showing a bit more tolerance of other people's gear. Muzzle loading is first and foremost a friendly sport.
