new old army blued barrel

Hi, my New Army needs a new Barrel, due to a mis- fire , (bulge in barrel), Ruger doesn't do this repair service anymore, Any Suggestions? I've had the gun 9 yrs and only shot it 20 times I bought this one and a Stainless that has never been fired, thanks- Tim

Hi, Welcome to the forum. I'm sure someone will be along to offer better advice, but I can only imagine that a gunsmith would be your best bet. I read on CMPs website about them possible taking on the Ruger OA, into their pistol dealings, they are very close to finishing a deal regarding 1911s. They might be able to help point you in the right direction.

No it went out,my son was shooting it and he didn't realize just the cap went off and tried it again and both rounds went out, just did a slight bulge , pretty strong gun, It wil be off to Clements gun shop for his .50 cal conversion this week.
