need advice on proper 1996 roa box

i scored a box for my blued 1973 old army, now my question is, can anyone tell me what box i need for the 1996 stainless i have? clearly i know the bbl length and adj sight options but were they hard cases like my new black hawks or still cardboard like my 80's super redhawk?

Sounds like it is time to get "Crafty" in the wood working department to me. If you scored a proper period correct Remington style wooden box use it to eyeball your Ruger next to the Remington box and make a few adjustments to the dimensions to get an idea of what you need to make.
