ChooseWisely, It is obvious that you are arrogant, and it is possible that you are ignorant as well. Federal Explosives Regulations 27 CFR Part 555, Sub Part K state that Black Powder must be kept in a locked storage container until it is sold in a retail store. What you may have seen is EMPTY black powder cans, displayed on a shelf. This is legal but would have been obvious had you bothered to pick one up. Black powder is considered a low grade explosive, which is the reason for the regulation and substitutes like pyrodex, clean shot, 777, Black MZ, Jim Shockey's Gold and possibly others are considered a propelent and can be displayed on open shelves.......robin

Arrogant and ignorant.
I will take that as a grain of salt from someone that dresses up in some old clothes and reenacts old battles with toy guns and plays dead.
